Apple iPad Pro could go on sale from November 11 in US: report :)

Apple’s iPad Pro will go on sale in the US by November 11

both online and offline, says a report on 9 to 5Mac.

Apple showed off the new bigger-screen iPad at the launch

of the new iPhone 6s event. The new iPad Pro is aimed at

increasing productivity, and moves away from the traditional

media-entertainment centred iPads that we have seen in the

past.

According to 9to5Mac report, the Apple Pencil and Smart

Keyboard will be also available for purchase from November

11.

The iPad Pro runs a 64-bit A9X chip, which Apple says is

faster than most portable PCs that were shipped last year

and offers 10 hours of battery life. It will come in 32 and

128GB versions.  The iPad Pro also comes with a new four-

speaker audio design for better sound quality . It supports

802.11ac Wi-Fi with MIMO technology, Bluetooth 4.0.

While the 32GB starts (WiFi only) starts at $799 (Rs 52320

when converted) , the 128GB will cost $949 (Rs 62,142).

The

Apple site only lists a 128GB model in the WiFi+Cellular

connectivity version. This one will cost $1049 (Rs 70, 655).

The iPad Pro also supports the new Apple Pencil stylus.

Apple Pencil comes with a Lightning conductor built-in and

Apple says that 15 seconds of charge will give a user 30

seconds of usage. The Apple Pencil can be used by

designers, and the screen can sense different levels of

pressure, to create shading effects, etc.

Apple Pencil will work with apps like Mail, Notes, Procreate

and Office 365 for iPad.  The iPad Pro also lets users run two

apps in full size mode simultaneously.

Apple iPad Pro will come in 3 colours and in a 32 GB and

128GB WiFi model.

iPad Pro comes in three colours silver, gold and space grey.

The Apple Pencil will cost $99 and the keyboard $169.

Apple’s iPad Pro launches at a time when tablet sales have

been declining worldwide if one were to go by the latest

reports from IDC and Canalys. While Apple continues to

lead

in the segment, the tablet market is in sharp decline, and

whether the iPad Pro will stem this fall remains to be seen
 .
